Information on the WEEE eco-tax

From January 1, 2025, the amount of the eco-participation (WEEE), included in the price of our electrical and electronic appliances, will increase. This change is the result of new regulations aimed at strengthening the financing of the collection, recycling and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).

Why is the eco-tax increasing?

  • An environmental commitment: Eco-participation helps reduce pollution and waste from end-of-life equipment.
  • A regulatory framework: The European WEEE Directive requires manufacturers to ensure the collection, recycling and recovery of used equipment through a system of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR).

Payment of this eco-participation is compulsory and directly integrated into the sale price.

How is it applied?

Total price = Product price + Eco-participation

This amount is clearly indicated on our invoices and included in the product price. It is paid to an approved eco-organization to finance recycling.

How do I get my old equipment back?

When your new electrical appliance is delivered, our delivery personnel can take back your old equipment free of charge*. To take advantage of this service, tick the "Yes" box to the question about taking back old equipment when you place your order on our website.

Recovered equipment is entrusted to an eco-organization for recycling or recovery.

Cigar Humidor CIG251

Discover the CIG251 cigar humidor: an elegant and secure case for your cigars, offering perfect humidity and temperature regulation. Preserve up to 250 cigars in ideal conditions, enhanced by a refined design and a UV-protected glass door.

Why Use an Electric Humidor to Store and Preserve Tobacco?

The CIG251 cigar humidor ensures ideal storage conditions to preserve and enhance all the aromas of your cigars.

Cigars do not tolerate temperature or humidity fluctuations well, so they must be stored in a stable, regulated, and controlled environment.

  • If stored in a place that is too hot and humid, the tobacco swells, and the wrapper cracks. In this case, smoking the cigar will be impaired as the tobacco will burn unevenly or may even frequently go out. High humidity also promotes the growth of mold and bacteria.
  • Conversely, if stored in an overly dry place, the cigar may dry out and lose the aromas that define its strength and character.

Poor storage conditions will deteriorate the quality of the cigar itself and render your investment worthless, even if the cigar was of the highest quality when purchased.

Investing in a humidor specifically designed for cigar storage quickly becomes essential for true aficionados and connoisseurs.

Elegant Cigar Humidors

The cigar humidor is black and adapts to all styles of interior decor: from vintage office settings to modern, contemporary, or even Scandinavian-style decoration.

Its glass door is UV-treated, and its fine stainless-steel frame showcases the wooden drawers, making it an elegant humidor.

Cigar Humidor Warranty

The humidor comes with a full 2-year warranty (parts, labor, and home service in France).
